Kingston has a 5-year guarantee -- why doesn't Digitec pass this on? Or is it just a typo?

I can no longer copy data from the Kingston XS2000. I can still see the data and can copy/paste, but after a short time the copying process stops and the USB drive no longer responds. What can I do?

Please correct its specifications. It's USB 3.2 2x2, not 3.1

Hello I have recently had the problem that my Kingston XS2000 (4TB) SSD is suddenly no longer recognised by the computer during a data access or copy process. On my Lenovo Legion 7i (2023 model with Win11) all external SSDs (SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable 2TB) used to work without any problems. Which is of course unfavourable during a copy process. In addition, I can't possibly download all the data from the device if it keeps interrupting. So far I have tried the following: - Changed USB slot [without success] - Replaced cable [without success] - Updated driver/firmware [without success or latest version already installed] I can only resolve the error by unplugging the SSD and plugging it back in. Does anyone have any advice or has observed something similar? I would like to stick the device in but it will be difficult if I can't get the data off it. Greetings Zeneox

I have a Captiva Ultimate Gaming I70-953 Core i9 RTX 4090 Intel Core i9-12900KF, 64 GB, 2000 GB, SSD As soon as I connect the Kinston XS2000 4000GB SSD and restart, the PC no longer boots. An error message appears and Windows does not start. The error message is: gpt header is missing or corrupted please check storage setting in bios menu If I connect the ssd after booting, there is no problem. It's just stupid to plug it in and out every time. I have already formatted the ssd with NTFS and exFAT, no difference. The boot order in the BIOS is HDD first, the other options are disabled. Any ideas?

This is really strange, OpenAI tells me the following: "The error message "gpt header is missing or corrupted" indicates that there is a problem with the GUID Partition Table (GPT) of your SSD. This could indicate that the SSD is not formatted correctly or that there is a conflict with the boot configuration." However, there could also be a defect on the SSD. Is it compatible with the 2022 Ipad M2? I had the bad surprise of a non-compatible USB stick already and it's not noted anywhere.

Kingston says that the SSD should be compatible with Mac devices running macOS versions (v.10.14.x +). Unfortunately, it does not provide any further information about Ipads specifically. For all intents and purposes, here is the brand's contact form: https://www.kingston.com/fr...

Why should it not be possible? I have created two partitions: I have encrypted one with VeraCrypt. This means that my data is securely encrypted. If you want to make it easier, you can also use Bitlocker from Microsoft. However, since I don't have a Windows Pro licence, this option was not available.
