I have attached heavy bass guitars to the brackets. No problem with good mounting. Screws are not included.
It works for my ukulele.

The diameter of the individual rod is 14 mm. I use these holders for a classical guitar, a western guitar and for an E-Guitar.

This should work. Both holders can be rotated and can thus clamp thinner necks.
It hardly clamps at all, and the weight is relevant for the clamping effect. For a ukulele on the bus, I would think about something else. Maybe Hercules stands?

Actually, practically everything goes on this holder. I also had a violin or bagpipes on it once :P. The "handles" are just a bit too big, I suppose the ones for the ukulele are a bit smaller.... But it certainly works.
