I control a variety of devices from different manufacturers with 2 hubs. I haven't actually found anything that I couldn't control, including SmartHome. You sometimes need patience and have to experiment. The latest firmware is obviously important for the PS4. Pairing: Harmony will ask you to pair with your PlayStation 4 via Bluetooth. Using the game controller, navigate to the PS4 home screen and select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth devices. When prompted to register the Bluetooth device, select Harmony Keyboard and then select Yes. Swisscom has - I assume it's Bluewin TV - 3 supported devices. Otherwise: have you already used Logitech support?

The Harmony should be able to handle a lot, there is at least also an iOS and Android App. Have you ever tried a mobile app to "only" control the volume on your Mac? I think Harmony is overkill for that (shooting at sparrows with cannons). There are many (free) apps to control media centre / volume / channels / movies etc. via smartphone. Of course depending on the infrastructure (e.g. via WLAN / LAN / Bluetooth etc.), player etc.

Battery life is very good, I don't know when I've had to change the battery before. For your devices, you can check this on the Harmony website: https://www.myharmony.com/de-de/ In my experience there is a lot of support, the only thing I couldn't get to work was the Z-Wave gate control.
