Yes, the ball head is included with the Rollei Compact Traveler No 1 C (Carbon) tripod. The ball head is a panoramic ball head that allows 360° rotation. For particularly tricky situations, the Rollei Compact Traveler No. 1 Carbon travel tripod can also be used as a monopod, a separate bag is of course included with Rollei. It works with mine (carbon). I don't think this is possible with the aluminium model.

In principle, any ball head with a 3/8 inch thread will fit. Not only from Rollei or Fotopro (the manufacturer of Rollei tripods). I would take a head that is not heavier than about 350 grams. E.g. the Rollei T2S Mark II (ball head) or

Yeah, sure.
I use the tripod as a travel tripod and have had no problems so far. However, I have replaced the ball head with another one (Giottos) without any problems. The tripod has the advantage for me: with the centre column mounted upside down and the camera hanging, I can shoot plants at 0 distance from the ground. Tripod heads and screws are available for purchase. I don't know if they are available at Digitec.
