The WRL can read/write more data per year. WRL 550 believes the normal 350.
I have installed the disc in a Synology. Even though it is not certified by Synology, the disc works without any problems. However, as a server disc it is clearly audible when accessing data. It just depends on whether that bothers you or not.

The Seagate IronWolf Pro hard drives are specifically designed for NAS systems and are tested by leading NAS suppliers such as Synology. However, the IronWolf Pro is not listed on the compatibility list for certain Synology models such as the DS1522+ or DS923+, although they may still work. It is advisable to consult Synology's official compatibility list to ensure that the hard drive works optimally with the chosen NAS model.

The discs have 5 years. We have now also adjusted the display in the shop. Customers who purchased a plate before the correction can contact our customer service for the 5-year guarantee or process the guarantee directly via the manufacturer.
I don't know for sure but it may have to do with temporary supply vs demand. Regardless, I'm quite happy with mine so far.
I have this disc in my DS719+ and it works perfectly
Thank you for the hint. This hard drive has a SATA III connection, regardless of the model. The correction of the information has been requested
Of course. But I don't know what effect this has on RAIDs, whether the slower speed is then simply used for all disks. But if you either don't have a RAID or only combine discs of the same speed in a RAID, it's not a problem.
This is correct, the higher this specification is, the more they have been designed for a higher data exchange and accordingly physical load. At the time of my review, both have almost the same price. This is due to the offer and is related to many factors such as the purchase price and the price calculation. In such a case, I would clearly recommend the one with 550TB/Y.
I don't know that. I need two of these discs in a DS218+ and so far everything is going well.
I have no error message HD works ok for me in my Synology NAS
It works. I am using it with Synology. The main reason is likely the noise level, and energy consumption if you have a very large NAS: enterprise HDD are designed for different specs, and NAS-specific drives have special features to make them quiet. In this specific case, it can take a while to spin up all the drives if they sleep and when they are working they are noticeable louder than my precious NAS-specific Ironwolfs
Hello, this product works perfectly in my TimeMachine. I can't take any photos as it's already installed. But I can confirm the quality of this product. Best regards. Christophe Zawadzki
