I can't confirm for sure whether the UniFi Express is compatible with the Swisscom network, as Swisscom don't explicitly list it as a device tested by them. However, the UniFi Express is a Wi-Fi 6 router that can work with most networks, but it's always best to check directly with Swisscom for official confirmation.

First of all: The UniFi Express can manage a maximum of 5 UniFi devices, regardless of whether they are APs, switches, etc. For your project, you need a PoE switch from UniFi. This will allow you to manage all APs. However, that would be a total of 6 devices, which the Express does not allow. Alternatively, you could use a manageable PoE switch from a third-party brand or use Injector to feed the APs and use a non-manageable switch. Also note that the UniFi Express already has built-in Wi-Fi, so an additional AP may not be necessary

Depends on your use case, but as standalone controller no. You cannot run Protect on this device. It is only „compatible“ if you use it as AP and run your controller on another device that supports Protect. But I guess this is not what you want to do…
