When it comes to tablets, no one can hold a candle to Apple. I'm an Android guy when it comes to mobile phones, but Apple is way ahead of the competition when it comes to tablets.
The new iPad has to make some sacrifices, but this is good for the price and hardly affects the performance and product quality. The performance is top, the workmanship is almost perfect and the apps in the app store simply look better and more customised than in the Google Playstore. What's also great is the support for the Apple Pencil. I use it in my studies and it is really good in combination with this iPad. The only complaint is that the Apple Pencil is very audible on the iPad screen. This can be annoying, but it doesn't have to be.

In terms of price/performance, probably the best tablet on the market today. No micro-stutters, top workmanship as usual, simple and beautiful design. Of course, it can't keep up with an iPad pro, which is especially visible on the screen. But if you don't need the device professionally (CAD, rendering, etc.) you'll be happy with it, provided you like Apple and their software.

An iPad as you know it, top screen, battery performance and workmanship. Basically, it's the old iPad, just with a new interior.

Chic design, the materials make it look very high quality. It is very thin and light. Everything runs smoothly, no jerking or twitching. Browsing on the tablet is good because the web pages are displayed in desktop mode, but the size is pleasant. When reading longer articles, you can switch to reading mode. The display is sufficiently bright and the resolution for videos is very good. The speakers are really good for this price range. The battery life is impressive in any case. Here I come close to the manufacturer's specifications. Even when playing games, the battery is not immediately drained. I get 3-4 days before I have to recharge. Standby also consumes extremely little. Only the weight of the tablet is a bit high. After some time in landscape mode with one hand, it becomes uncomfortable. The iOS works fluidly as usual and is still my favourite for the best mobile operating system.
I almost like the multitasking function, which I use every day and which is even easier to work with thanks to drag and drop. Unfortunately, the cameras are rather mediocre, especially the front camera is not really good. However, I was already aware of this beforehand, and besides, the price difference to other models has to come from somewhere. The display is a bit reflective in the sun, but it's still OK.

Does this sell-out mean that Apple will bring something new at CES? :)
