The world's first optical AF exchange lens for Sony E-mount. This innovative technology allows you to exchange the optical elements (focal lengths) in the lens instead of replacing the entire lens of the camera. With this technology, you can use lenses with different focal lengths (21mm, 28mm and 32mm) in one lens body, which significantly increases flexibility in photo and video shooting and efficiently saves space. The magnetically attached bayonet mount is easily interchangeable and can be quickly replaced depending on the situation. The 21 mm, 28 mm and 32 mm optical systems are inspired by the legendary film cameras of the past. These lenses have been reborn with a design optimised for digital sensors, while retaining their unique characteristics. Practical functions The AF/MF switch on the RS AF module allows you to quickly switch between the different focussing modes depending on the situation. It also has a small focussing ring for precise focusing. A standard 49 mm filter can be attached to the module, allowing you to add creative effects or optimise your images depending on the shooting conditions. In addition, the USB-C port directly on the module offers an easy way to apply firmware updates without additional accessories, so your lens is always up to date with the latest functions and improvements. Short minimum focusing distance The lens offers exceptional close-up performance across all focal lengths. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.18m at 21mm, 0.30m at 28mm and 0.37m at 32mm, you can get close to your subject and capture dynamic images with ease. In MF mode, the minimum focusing distance is even shorter, allowing for creative flexibility - from bold still lifes to dynamic shots with background blur and perspective.

Key specifications

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
