Product details
The Shadow Electronics SH-NFX-EPA Nanoflex Pickup System with Endpin Preamp is a permanently installed amplification system for acoustic guitars, based on innovative Nanoflex technology. Unlike traditional under-saddle pickups that capture only string vibrations, the Nanoflex system simultaneously captures both string vibrations and body resonances. This technology allows for exceptional sound reproduction with an authentic acoustic character. The integrated system combines the Nanoflex under-saddle pickup with the EP-A endpin preamp, specifically optimized for acoustic guitars with bronze strings. This combination offers a balanced frequency response with clear highs and defined bass. The preamp features an output volume control suitable for both fingerpicking and strumming techniques. For maximum reliability, the system is fully shielded to eliminate hum and interference while maintaining signal integrity. Active amplification directly at the pickup location ensures no sound loss during transmission. Power is supplied by a battery housed in a provided pouch that can be attached to the side or bottom of the instrument. The SH-NFX-EPA system is characterized by extremely low power consumption for longer operating time. Installation is straightforward for permanent mounting applications. This professional amplification solution preserves the natural acoustic properties of your instrument while providing consistent, high-quality amplified sound for various performance environments.
