The SCALANCE XF204-2BA is a managed Layer 2 flat switch with 4 x 10/100 Mbit/s RJ45 and 2 x bus adapter interfaces designed for cabinet use in the SIMATIC ET 200SP format. It is suitable for building networks in both factory automation and process automation. The switch can be used in various industries: pharmaceuticals/chemicals, tunnels, oil and gas, shipbuilding, food and beverage industry, automotive industry, and is suitable for use in explosion-hazard areas of Zone 2.

The ultra-flat design in the SIMATIC ET 200SP format ensures optimal space savings in the control cabinet and allows for use in small enclosures. The switch offers various application possibilities even for demanding network architectures through a comprehensive firmware feature set, such as VLAN, RSTP, MRP, HRP.
