Years ago, SIGMA took on the challenge of creating a zoom lens that offers the brightness and resolution of a prime lens—in other words, with the highest level of optical performance. The result was the Art 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM, the world's first zoom lens with a large aperture of F1.8 throughout the entire focal length range.

Building on this concept, a fast wide-angle zoom lens with an aperture of F2 across the entire focal length range was developed for 35mm full-frame image sensors: the SIGMA Art 24-35mm F2 DG HSM. This lens covers the focal lengths of three prime lenses—24mm, 28mm, and 35mm—while maintaining an aperture of F2 and high optical performance. It represents flexible functionality and high comfort.

At 24mm and 35mm focal lengths, this lens delivers performance similar to that of the corresponding prime lenses in the Art product line. Instead of having to switch between powerful prime lenses, you can simply zoom.
