With the 10/100 Mbps SC Single-Mode Fiber Optic WDM Media Converter Set (20 km) ET90110WDM2, you can extend a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network over single-mode fiber optic at distances of up to 20 km.

The converter features Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (WDM), enabling bidirectional communication over a single fiber optic strand, effectively doubling the capacity of existing fiber optic infrastructures without the need for new cabling.

The Ethernet to WDM fiber optic set includes both endpoints (two interchangeable modules) and provides a straightforward solution for connecting 10/100Base-T networks to remote locations via SC-terminated single-mode fiber optic. The Ethernet to fiber optic converter has a durable steel housing and is easily installed via plug-and-play with minimal configuration required.

For added versatility, this fiber optic media converter supports standalone operation or can be installed on one or both sides in a 2U rackmount chassis with 20 slots.

It comes with a 2-year StarTech.com warranty and free technical support for the entire lifespan of the device.
