Additionally, three aspherical hybrid elements and two LD (Low Dispersion) elements are used to compensate for chromatic aberration on-axis and at the edges of the image. This factor is particularly important for achieving high quality in digital photography. The result is a versatile zoom lens with outstanding optical quality. It also achieves a magnification ratio of 1:3.7, making it suitable for macro photography. The minimum focusing distance is 45 cm.

Please note that Di II generation lenses are only suitable for digital cameras with a sensor size of no more than 16x24 mm and cannot be used with full-frame sensors or 35mm SLR cameras, as this would result in vignetting at the edges.
