The next generation of matte boxes is here: the Tilta Mirage Pro.
Meticulously crafted, the Mirage Pro is a clamp-on matte box designed for various lens sizes. This kit comes with a mount for lenses with an outer diameter of 114 mm. Additional adapters are available as accessories.
The Mirage Pro can be equipped with rod adapters (15 mm or 19 mm). An optional swing-away adapter for easy lens changes is also available.
The Mirage Pro features traditional filter trays that are compatible with 4×5.6 filters, allowing for simple handling to achieve the desired visual aesthetic. With the included top flag and optional bottom and side flags, the Mirage Pro can block flares even in the most challenging lighting conditions.
The housing has a unique magnetic clip-on design that allows for easy removal of the front hood to reduce the weight of the matte box while keeping all three filters in place. The lighter weight makes it a valuable option when the system is used on a gimbal or other weight-sensitive support systems.
