Supports Intel Smart Response Technology.
Transcend's SATA III 6Gb/s MTS800 M.2 SSD supports Intel® Smart Response Technology (ISRT), allowing the SSD to be used as a cache between the HDD and system memory. This provides the advantage of maximizing the HDD's capacity while still enjoying the system performance experience of an SSD.
ISRT monitors the most frequently used programs and documents and stores them on the SSD. This accelerates application loading and significantly improves system response time, while all other data and programs remain stored on the HDD. In this configuration, only one drive letter is displayed. The SSD acting as a cache does not have its own drive letter.
