The OTX 1310 SAT fiber optic headend kit consists of the Wideband LNB TWB 40 and the OTX 1310 SAT FO transmitter, including the power supply for wall mounting. This headend enables the distribution of vertical and horizontal SAT wideband signals combined with terrestrial broadcast channels over a fiber optic network to a large number of buildings and households.

The TWB 40 should be installed on a TRIAX dish with a diameter of 85 to 120 cm. The OTX transmitter unit can be mounted both indoors and outdoors. A special mast mounting bracket can be ordered as OTX-MB.

The OTX transmitter features two coaxial RF inputs for connecting to the vertical and horizontal SAT-IF signal cables coming from the Wideband LNB. The LNB is powered via the V-Port (+12V) and the H-Port (+20V). Please note: The LNB TWB 40 uses the V-Port solely for DC power supply. The OTX transmitter unit consists of the frequency stacker for the SAT-IF H and V bands, as well as the TER band and the laser transmitter. The OTX FO headend is capable of operating a PON (Passive Optical Network) with optical splitters up to 32 branches, to which the TRIAX optical return converters TVQ 06, TVC 06, and TOM 08 M/S can be directly connected.

The OTX 1310, equipped with a 1310nm laser transmitter, is the most cost-effective option within the OTX family and supports the standard applications described above. The optical network can be significantly expanded by using active TRIAX FO repeaters OTO 32.
