Mounted on the back of the graphics card, it enhances cooling performance and mechanical stability. This is made possible by the use of solid black anodized aluminum. A small highlight is the milled logos and the indirect lighting. The backplate cools relevant components on the back of the PCB, including the GPU and voltage regulators (VRM). Pre-cut thermal pads are included in the package. Electrically insulating spacers ensure easy installation on the graphics card.
