The two reception components (TWIN Tuner) of the HRT 8770 TWIN require no complicated settings, additional cables, or special antennas. Once the initial installation is complete, both reception components are automatically available. While recording one channel, you can switch to another channel. Of course, the HRT 8770 TWIN can also record two programs simultaneously. This can be done either at the push of a button or via a timer. While the receiver is recording, it can simultaneously play back existing recordings.

Time-shifted television is also possible. To use the recording and time-shift function, simply connect a USB hard drive to the receiver.

The receiver is also suitable for receiving unencrypted channels of digital cable television (a software update may be necessary for this).
