The rugged Area Imager Zebra DS3608 offers above-average performance with extreme durability. Thanks to its innovative housing design and area imaging technology, it contains no moving parts. This makes the balanced handheld scanner nearly completely dust- and waterproof (IP67) and provides drop resistance of up to 2.40 m. The DS3608 is therefore perfect for any applications in harsh conditions, both indoors and outdoors, even at extreme temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +50 °C. Whether for standard, HD, or DPM barcodes, the DS3608 offers a dedicated variant for every application and quickly and reliably captures nearly all 1D and 2D barcodes from a distance of up to 21 m. The reading confirmation is provided through practical triple feedback: two bright LEDs in the field of view, a clear tone, and a short vibration. This ensures clarity after each scan and significantly enhances user efficiency. By default, the DS3608 features a convenient multi-interface. Depending on the needs, it can be connected via USB, RS232, or KBW interface. Interface cables (RS232, KBW, or USB) must be ordered separately.
