2. Ilford Ortho Plus 135-36

Ilford Ortho Plus

Ilford Ortho Plus is an orthochromatic black and white film. Developed as a high-resolution copy film for negatives, Ortho Plus offers excellent
quality thanks to its fine grain and sharpness.

The blue and green sensitivity of this emulsion is ideal for landscape photography and allows for handling the film under dark red safety light conditions, making processing and testing easier.

Due to the lack of red sensitivity, red and orange tones are rendered darker and more contrasted in the image compared to conventional panchromatic films (all other Ilford and Kentmere films are panchromatic).

Ilford Ortho Plus is DX-coded for ISO 80 for shooting in daylight/natural light. Whether shot at ISO 80 or 40, the film can be processed like a standard image.

Please do not use with yellow safety light, as this can lead to fogging.

ISO 80 (ISO 40 in tungsten light)
Fine-grained, sharp orthochromatic black and white film
Can be used in red light
Available in 35mm, 120 roll film, and sheet film
Perfect for stunning landscape photography.

3. Ilford Pan F Plus 135/36

Low-sensitivity black-and-white film with a nominal speed of ISO 50/18. In addition to its exceptional fine grain, it has outstanding resolution and equally sharp edges. These properties enable the very highest image quality and extreme magnification scales and make Pan F Plus the obvious choice when the finest detail reproduction and invisible grain are more important than high sensitivity in a film.

4. Ilford Ortho Plus 120

Fine-grained, sharp orthochromatic ISO 80 black and white film is ideal for stunning landscapes. It has an ISO of 80 (ISO 40 under artificial light) and can be processed and handled under dark red safety light.

5. Ilford Delta 100 4x5 inch/25

Sheet film for large format cameras. ISO 100, medium sensitivity, exceptionally fine grain, black and white film. Ideal for uncompromising image creators who want to capture maximum detail sharpness and clarity.

Ilford Delta 100 Professional is a black and white film with medium sensitivity that utilizes our latest core-shell emulsion technology to deliver outstanding image quality and maximum sharpness.

Particularly suitable for detail-rich scenes, the exceptionally fine grain makes Delta 100 the perfect choice for many applications or genres. At the recommended sensitivity of ISO 100/21°, Delta 100 exhibits outstanding quality and also delivers impressive results at sensitivities between ISO 50 and 200.

Delta 100 can be processed in a variety of developers, including spiral tanks, deep tanks, and automatic processors.

6. Ilford FP4 Plus 125 135-36

Ideal for all indoor and outdoor shots that demand high standards. Its nominal sensitivity is ISO 125. A classic that won't let you down even in underexposure or overexposure situations. It is easy to process in tanks, trays, and rotary processing machines.

What our customers think

Pro

  • Very wide exposure latitude
  • Exceptional sharpness
  • Very fine grain

7. Ilford XP-2 Super 135/24

It is a unique black-and-white film in multiple ways. With a nominal sensitivity of ISO 400/27°, it belongs to the category of high-sensitivity films, yet it offers an extraordinary fine grain that is typically expected only from a black-and-white film of a lower sensitivity class. This exceptional performance results from the use of modern color film technology. It is a so-called chromogenic film, whose blackening in the negative is caused by the dyes formed during development, rather than by metallic silver as is common with traditional black-and-white films. This not only means that it is an outstanding product, but it also offers the advantage of being easily processed in any color lab or minilab using the standard C-41 color negative process, even alongside color films. The negatives can be enlarged or copied onto black-and-white photographic paper just like conventional negatives.
