In nature, PLA usually does not decompose. Therefore, we do not recommend composting PLA filament or printed parts made from PLA.

Furthermore, Polymaker, the manufacturer of PolyTerra PLA, has partnered with the nonprofit organization One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every spool sold, further emphasizing the eco-friendly aspect of PolyTerra PLA.
