The box runs Google TV and yes, you can install a browser. However, the choice is not so great as not all apps can be installed because you only have access to the Google TV Playstore. But you don't need a browser for YouTube, for example. The box supports YouTube directly with the pre-installed app. There is even an explicit button on the remote control for this. There are also buttons for NETFLIX, Prime Video and Disney+.
For example, I also use Kodi together with Teleboy, Play Suisse, Play SRF,
ZDF&ARD Mediathek, Join, etc.
Everything runs flawlessly, fast and supports Dolby Vision & Atmos (sound) and other formats.
Oh yes, the remote control is backlit and has a great feel :-)
