Question about Crucial Laptop Memory
Are these suitable for the Aspire e17? I have 8gb ddr3 L installed and urgently need to upgrade. Dnake for an answer.
Can't answer the question as I have an ASUSROG G14 Zephyrus. I have installed it but can't recommend it as the notebook has stalled since then. Mouse does not keep up. Not tuned.
No, this is DDR4, which is not compatible with DDR3 L.
This one should work:
Kingston ValueRAM (1 x 8GB, 1600 MHz, DDR3L-RAM, SO-DIMM)
If you want Crucial, then
Micron Crucial DDR3L (1 x 8GB, 1600 MHz, DDR3L-RAM, SO-DIMM)
(but I find it rather expensive)
These are both modules with 8GB, 16GB are not really available in DDR3 L. If the device has two memory slots, then you can install 2x8GB. If the device only has one memory slot, then it might be difficult to upgrade.
Unfortunately, the specification "Aspire e17" is totally useless, without the exact model number it is impossible to say what memory modules the device accepts and whether it has two DIMM slots.
