Can any charging cable be used in the meantime or must the original still be used?

Yes, the problem was that the Foundation did not adhere to the standards for the 4s and, depending on this, some cables cannot be used for charging.....

The Raspberry Pi 4 has a USB type C connector (reversible) for the power supply. I use the original power supply with 5V/3A.
