As far as I know, a preamplifier is required to connect the record player, with cinch cable to the analogue in sockets, see instruction manual page 25, fründlichi Grüess Marcel Soldat

According to the operating instructions, digital and analogue devices can be connected, but I do not use this myself. However, it is not clear whether a preamplifier is required for a record player. I think not, but I can't say for sure (sorry).
