You can use any XLR microphone with the Maono G1 NEO Gaming Audio Mixer, including a Rode microphone. The mixer supports both dynamic and condenser microphones via the XLR connection and offers 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. It is not necessary to use a Maono microphone.
