I installed it on an ASUS Prime. It works there without any problems. In my home network, it transports a good 100 MBytes per second.

The card should be placed on the first PCI Express slot (1x16) (near the CPU). On the second slot, it was acting up (error message "network cable has been removed", card disappeared from the device manager, etc.).

... if you have a free x8 socket - yes! (i.e. one of 2 large PCIe slots free ...)
