Yes, you can connect multiple cameras to the hub, group them if you want and access them via the app. 
The hub supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB and recording on them. If you want to use the AI function pet, vehicle detection, then you have to buy a subscription, which depends on the number of cams. With 3-4 MP models, the subscriptions are already included, but they are also more expensive.

Please also note that this model is not battery operated. For outdoor use and as a set, so that you also have a hub, I would recommend the TP-Link Tapo C420S2 set, plus a small solar panel that charges the battery.
