Also works for Synology DS218+ and gives 2+8=10GB RAM (instead of 6GB maximum as stated) :)

I have installed this RAM (total 4) in my iMac. It now runs extremely fast. Whether this works with a Synology NSA, I have no idea?

This is a notebook/laptop RAM are you sure this is needed by the Synology NAS?

I do not know. Technically conceivable, but if the Synology Linux kernel restricts the RAM then it's no use. Google it :-)
