Question about Ubiquiti Network cable

Can I use this cable to connect to e.g. a switch with "only" SFP (i.e. without +)? Specifically from the Dream Machine pro to a USW 16 POE. I realise that I have to throttle the SFP+ on the DMP to SFP, the question is more whether the USW 16 PE can handle the SFP+ connector, even if only 1G runs over it?

Caution!
I also bought these cables to connect the UDM Pro (SFP+) to a USW24 (SFP). Unfortunately this is not possible because according to the Ubiquiti forums the SFP+ port of the UDM PRO cannot be switched to 1G. :-(
I would be grateful for any input if anyone has actually managed to get this to work!

It was the same for me that it does not work with the UDM Pro (SFP+) with a USW24 (SFP)! Unfortunately, I only saw the answer that it should work.
