HELLO! I'm not much of a film maker, but I tried it with my a7iii and it didn't work either. However, it worked fine with the Sony remote control RMT-DSLR2 (item 374043). It only costs 36.60. But as far as I know you can't use it to trigger the shutter from such a long distance. With my a7iii it worked fine from 8 m away. Greetings hrm59

But it should work. You simply have to set the camera so that video is also triggered with the shutter release button.

I tested it briefly with my a6300 and couldn't get it to work. The signal from the Hähnel is processed like the pressure on the shutter release, where in video mode there is a message that this is not possible in video mode. Maybe there is a setting, but it doesn't look like it...
