The previous answers are outdated. At the time of my comment, you can use OverDrive (Libby) on the Kobo Clara BW. You can read borrowed books as well as search for books to borrow in the OverDrive library. This is despite the fact that Switzerland is not listed as a supported country for OverDrive on the Kobo website.

This device works as an USB storage. I'm using Calibre ebook manager to send the files in. So, if you have any PDF or epub files, you can send them in the device. Then, if you want to connect your specific account directly in the device, I don't know.
