Can the supplied RC-972R remote control also be used to carry out so-called activities? For example, can the TV screen and the receiver itself be switched on at the same time with one button? This worked with the RC-768M remote control. There was also an ALL OFF button where everything could be switched off again...

So HDMI CEC is supported. But not via remote control. I.e. communication via HDMI cable. The connected devices must also support HDMI-CEC. With older Samsung devices it is called Anynet+, with LG Simplink or with Sony Bravia Sync.

Yes my amplifier also switches on the Tv but when I only listen to the radio I don't need it to switch on the Tv otherwise the amplifier is a spice product the sound control direct treble bass without going into the menu is great I have been looking for this for a long time I had a Yamaha 500d 5.1 revicer that was a good amplifier so the new Onkyo is not much better but I have to say that the Yamaha is an older device the Onkyo is new gr Fredy

In addition to several Zohnen, the TX-NR6100 also offers other future-proof functions such as 3 x 8K inputs and HDMI 2.1 interfaces. Since Harmony has been discontinued by Logitech, future-proofing is less guaranteed. What you have is still supported, but Logitech is unfortunately no longer developing the Harmony platform.

No, this is a full amplifier with two zones. Analogous to Sonos, rooms can be created and individually controlled via the app. No scenes / actions can be created. I use Logitech Harmony for actions.
