Can this player be powered from a 12V cigarette lighter socket or 5V USB port, for use on a motorhome TV or in the car, for example?

Hello, the player is powered by a 220V to 5V transformer and could therefore easily be connected to a cigarette lighter or USB port (requires 1.5A power)
