Can this Tamron lens also be used with a Canon Extender EF 2x lll?

Helpful answer
I bought a Tamron teleconverter 2x for the lens. The autofocus only works partially and very slowly.
Actually, the combination is only really usable in manual focus. I suspect this will also be the case with the Canon extender.
