Two monitors can be switched on independently of each other.
However, you have to define monitor 1 and monitor 2 in Windows.
The system recognises monitor 1 and monitor 2. Here you can then say which should be the primary monitor.
Primary= Start, Monitor 2 here you can display Outlook, for example.
Start in the Start screen and then drag the window to the other monitor.

Hello, I don't know because I wrongly assumed that an Asus docking station should also be compatible with an Asus Zenbook. Wrong...I have therefore returned the docking station.
