The sound is good, you can hear the horn skin sliding over the strings (harp music). The drawer mechanism should sound of higher quality. Compared to the CD-S700, the electronics eat up more audio formats, including the pristine *.wav. Everything from CD or USB can also be played through the headphones. The headphones are commendably adjustable to the impedance (Sennheiser is sometimes high-impedance). Music from iPod works. Not from Android mobile phones, iPhone should not work either. I'm not an Apple fan ;-)
