Do you have to charge the mic or is it always connected? And do you have to connect it to the pc or to the power supply?

See answer from Gauch.marvin. That's just the microphone boom. We bought the ShureMV7X with it.
This article only includes the microphone arm. (The microphone must be ordered separately)
A suitable microphone would be the Shure SM7B.
Regarding your questions about the microphone:
The microphone is permanently connected to an audio interface via an XLR connector, which is connected to your PC.
