I tried it out briefly in May for testing: Ubuntu 20.04 didn't run at all - then I took another distro that ran (I think it was Manjaro). What definitely didn't run well was the power management / fan control (hot, high battery consumption, loud fans) ... maybe it looks different today / and with tinkering you might be able to fix it. As far as I can remember: Touch pad and WLan worked (Bluetooth, external camera, sleep: I don't remember). ... I didn't bother with it any more, with WSL2 I have everything I need - and it works out-of-the-box.

I have installed Pop! Os on the device, and what can I say. Pop! Os was developed for laptops, among other things, and that's why it ran wonderfully on my device. Power management is also great if you need the system76-power manager that is integrated in Pop! Os is integrated.
