Question about Google Chromecast
Does anyone know if there are/were problems with compatibility with older Samsung TVs (mine was built in 2012)? I wonder if it works?

Yes the Google Chromecast works with all HDMI capable TV's or monitors.
PS: With monitors you simply have no audio output. Unless the monitor has a speaker.
