Does anyone know what the open contacts on the side are for? It looks like a docking connector, but I haven't found a docking station that fits...

These contacts are used, for example, with the mounting shells or mounting accessories: With the RAM mount shell, the tab is supplied with power (via usb) and other accessories can be used on a piggy port.
