Question about Samsung 870 EVO

Does anyone use this Samsung 870 Evo 4TB SSD as NAS storage? I'm thinking of buying two SSDs of it with Synology DS923+. Would that be a good buy? The SSDs from Synology are too expensive, so I'm looking for alternatives. Thanks!

That is quite expensive for only 4 TB, I would not recommend it, because you can't use the speed advantage optimally in the NAS by using SSDs. When it comes to power consumption and noise, I would install three 2.5 inch hard disks in the DS923+, as you also have some hardware failure protection. These disks work with CMR recording and do the job.
