Does the Gigaset S850 HX work independently of a base station? Is it an independent telephone? Another question, if you know this: Is the phone compatible with Tp-Link MR200 Archer?

The telephone needs a base. This can be in the form of a router with integrated DECT (Swisscom router, Sunrise router or Fritz Box).
The Tp-Link MR200 has no DECT functions, so you cannot register the phone with it.
