Unfortunately, the TM1750A with the UE65NU7170 did not work for me.
The pairing did not work. I had to return the remote control.

Yes, to connect the remote control to the TV, simply press and hold the Back and Pause/Play buttons. The TV will then indicate when the remote control is connected.
