Does this router have a mechanical switch (on / off). I want to use it for remote heating control and I need to be sure that it will come back online after a power failure. This is not possible with my small mobile router with battery, in case of a power failure, when the battery is empty, it no longer switches on automatically, so I need to replace this small router.

Yes, the router has a mechanical on/off switch. It is located on the back. I'm not at the device right now, but as I remember, it sticks out of the housing (when switched off). To turn it on, you push it into the case. Hope that helps.
