Question about Swiss CI Module Viaccess module
Enquiry for my holiday home in Tenerife: Is the purchase price to be paid once or is there a monthly or annual fee? Can I then watch SRF without any restrictions or only as long as SRF does not change anything and I have to buy a new card after a change? How long can I expect to receive Swiss TV with this card?

Additional information to the previous speaker regarding duration of use:
My old Viaccess module worked for about 7-8 years, then there were increasingly frequent reception faults on the coded channels SRF1 and SRF2. According to the SRF hotline, modules that are too old are no longer supported in updates and may no longer work at all.
If the apartment is supplied via cable TV network, I recommend clarifying whether the SFR channels are switched on the cable network. With satellite reception it should not be a problem.

Hello, what you are buying here is a Viaccess module optimised to accept an SRF Smartcard.
The card for watching SRF must be purchased additionally from SRF.
If your television or reciever already has a Viaccess module installed, you do not need this module.
