Fortunately, the part also sucks without the app and as systematically as the tests say. Only: How do you get the part "into" the app?! My mobile phone "sees" the vacuum cleaner as a WiFi device (under Settings -> Connections...) but when the app scans it finds NOTHING. (!!!) My FritzBox also finds nothing, although I have activated guest access and deactivated the encryption. I have reinstalled the app at least 4 times and have played the game with both buttons (reset WiFi) several times. To distract myself, it now runs without the app, which is relatively entertaining, but I don't want it to stay that way. Has anyone had to solve the same puzzle and can help?

Helpful answer

And in the end it was something that was too simple for me to have figured out myself. You were right: put the mobile phone on the Robo; it runs.
Thank you very much! 😊

What you're describing actually sounds right: The Robo must be switched to connection mode (which you can achieve, for example, by using the WiFi reset with the two buttons) and then it must be added in the Mi Home app, which of course only works if it is also found there. This should normally work without any problems.
If your app can't find the Robo, I can think of two possible causes:
1. the distance between the mobile phone and the robo is too great (as far as I remember, you have to be quite close to it. It's best to put the mobile phone on top of the Robo...).
2. your app lacks the permissions to access the corresponding functions of the mobile phone (search for WiFi devices or something...).
