Question about DisplayPort - HDMI - 470501
Question: if I have a monitor with a DP port and a laptop with an HDMI port, does it make sense to buy a DP adapter to HDMI, or does the port of the laptop remain the bottleneck and I can just as well use the HDMI to HDMI port from the monitor to the laptop? :-/
If I interpret your question correctly, this product is actually intended for the reverse situation, where you want to connect a source device with DP connection to an HDMI monitor. A passive connection in the desired direction is unfortunately not possible and can only be implemented with an active adapter such as this Delock HDMI to (DP, 24.50 cm).
