Absolutely. The TH8 is worth every franc. It can also be used as a sequential gearstick or as an analogue handbrake. The workmanship is also much more solid. I would do without a shifter altogether before buying the Logitech.

I think so. The TH8A is extremely solidly built. The Hall sensors are wear-free. I extended my lever and fitted an Eaton Fuller gear knob. After hundreds of simulator hours with 18-speed transmission, the thing still works without complaint. Direct mounting in the rig is also very solidly possible.
