Question about ZTE MU5001

Good day I have two questions, as I have not yet been able to find a download for a manual and/or data sheet or further information: 1. how far back does the wifi backwards compatibility go? 2. how is the ZTE MU5001 different from the ZTE MU5001 HyperMobile? 3) ZTE's website also shows a ZTE MU5002 HyperMobile, but not a ZTE MU5001 HyperMobile. Is there any information on this or is it the same model? Many thanks in advance.

Helpful answer
Hi,
I got this device (ZTE MU5001 HyperMobile) in March 2023 for a "Slow Business Travel" by bike through mostly rural areas in Italy. I am very happy with it. The only thing that bothers me, now back in home use, is that you can't operate it without a battery inserted only via USB-C. In addition, ZTE's 'reverse charging' does not work for me, so the router cannot be misused as a power bank for the mobile.

I don't know a precise answer to your two questions. Assumptions:

1.
Far backwards compatible (802.11a).

2.
It may only differ in terms of which GSM bands are supported, as there are differences between e.g. North America, China and Europe.

The model here on Digitec is certainly suitable for Europe.

Both models are listed on their global English page:

Except for a slightly different display, I don't see any differences in specs (my assumption: 802.11ax = Wifi 6).

Here is an English manual for ZTE MU5001 HyperMobile:
